Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – 5 December 2025 – OculloSpace, in partnership with OrionSpace, proudly hosted the Orientation & Onboarding Session for the Decimal-Sat1 PocketQube Program on 5 December 2025, marking the first student-led nanosatellite initiative in Malaysia.

 

Students from UTAR, Monash University Malaysia, IIUM, and UniKL MIAT officially began their journey into nanosatellite engineering and space technology, supported fully by their universities—thank you for helping make this historic program possible!

 

The Decimal-Sat1 PocketQube satellite is scheduled to launch aboard a SpaceX mission in Q1 2026, giving these students a rare and exciting opportunity to see their satellite designs reach orbit.

 

Throughout the program, participants will engage in 80 hours of immersive online and onsite hands-on learning, gaining practical skills in satellite design, construction, and mission operations—an experience that promises to be unforgettable and truly inspiring.

 

This program represents a major milestone in Malaysian student-led space exploration, highlighting the country’s growing capabilities in STEM education and space innovation.
